Here is a recent video of the Lingenfelter 2010 Camaro SS with the Magnuson TVS2300 supercharger and Corsa exhaust making some drive by runs and an in car view of our new Camaro SS Shift light in action. Because the ECM on the new Camaro does not have a tach output we use our RPM Activated Switch to trigger the LED shift light. This is available in RED L460070000 or GREEN L460080000. We installed the LED light in the dash right above the steering column for a clean look. Second row middle video.

Is the programming of the shift light part of the 570 package?

The shift light can be included as part of any of the packages & we also sell the components to do the install yourself for those interested. The parts are $109.95 and it comes with a red or green LED light depending on which part number you choose. Here is a link to the RPM Activated Switch & LED light.

The RPM Activated Switch will work in about any application buts its particularly helpful in 2010 Camaro & 2007 and newer General Motors Truck applications where the ECM does not supply a tachometer output signal.

To connect on a 2010 Camaro SS you would want to connect to the coil circuit on any of the ignition coil control outputs listed below.
IC 1 Pin 70
IC 8 Pin 71
IC 7 Pin 72
IC 2 Pin 73
IC 6 Pin 74
IC 5 Pin 75
IC 4 Pin 76
IC 3 Pin 77
Or you can connect at the coil packs also to the corresponding wires from above pin outs.

Tim,
Is there anyway that a BLUE LED can be used for the shift light? I'd like to keep the color in sync with the HALOs and LEDs I am wanting to put on my car. Thanks and keep up the great work.

Yes, the shift light can be ordered with a Blue LED, because of the manufacturing process of a blue LED it is more expensive to make so there would be a slightly higher cost to the kit. Here is a link about LED's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Light-emitting_diode#Ultraviolet_and_blue_LEDs) for those that are interested. Bowtie Smilie
