Has anyone removed the CAI air filter?

Has anyone removed the CAI air filter for cleaning? Do you need to remove the airbox, airbridge, hump hose, and electrical connectors to get access to the filter? It is not obvious from the installation instructions that there are any shortcuts to removing the entire assembly to get access to the filter. Thanks
