Since there are no posts regarding the C5 Corvette interests and discussions, I'll be the first to break the ice with my C5.
First, it's great to be a member of the LPE forum,. My name is Dave Parrish and I have a 2003 ZO6 Corvette purchased new in June of 2003. The American muscle car bug bit me in 1969 with a big block Camaro SS, purchased when I was a senior in high school.
In 1995, I purchased a new Formula Firebird, and on the drive home I decided it was only a matter of time until LPE would build an engine for me. Ten years later, in July of 2005, my dream came true when I had LPE install their intercooled Magnussen MP112 Supercharger package on my 2003 ZO6. Running 7 lbs of boost, the car makes 560 hp at the fly wheel and 490 hp at the drive wheels on their chassis dyno. Latest mods include a full coilover suspension from Pfadt Racing, a Corsa x-pipe, and a Borla exhaust XR1 rear section.
If you are on the edge of the fence and are just thinking about a supercharger for your C5, stop thinking about it and do it!
Listening to the supercharger every time you shift will put a smile on your face that will take the rest of the day to lose. Also, the 3-inch rise in the hood will intimidate most of what you are sitting next to at stoplights, including most Dodge Vipers, unless they have been built by LPE.
Thankfully, LPE lives on today and for the future, which I am sure is what John would have wanted.
Best regards,
Dave
