Lingenfelter Performance Engineering will be at the Woodward Dream Cruise this Saturday, August 21. Come check us out!

The Woodward Dream Cruise calls itself the world’s largest one-day automotive event, drawing 1.5 million people and 40,000 classic cars each year. Best of all, it's free and open to anyone with any kind of automotive interest.

We'll be with the National Corvette Restorers Society at the Burger King between 13 an 14 Mile Roads. The address is 31456 Woodward Avenue, Royal Oak, MI.

LPE will be on-site most all day, with four cars, including a T/A and some very hot Corvettes.

Thanks to everyone who came by during the Dream Cruise. The reception for the T/A was fantastic. We got a lot of interest from car fans of all kinds.

Here's how things went...

Though the Dream Cruise officially was Saturday, all the locals will tell you they start early in the week. We came out on Friday afternoon with the blue T/A.

Ken stopped by with a new project. This is a 2010 Camaro 5/1 RS by Innovation Retrokits. LPE has put a little into the motor. We'll post more information soon.

Saturday started overcast, but we were committed. T/A returns. NCRS was behind us and sponsor Automotive Repair Equipment Supply Company brought a portable lift for display. Several Corvettes went up in the air over the day.

ZR1 with our pulley and snout upgrades and 710 HP drew admirers.

Vintage T/A. It was neat to have so many cars that you can say, "Wait a minute and I'll show you one."

...and then, it rained...

Here's the 5/1 RS getting a shower. It kept misting lightly from about 10 AM to 4 PM. Not enough to make us go inside, though!

It kept raining, but they kept coming. Woodward traffic slowed to a crawl.

All kinds of cars. It doesn't have to be a classic or hot rod, you just have to want to show it to others. Of course, there were folks riding in the family Fusion, too.
