Chrome would look nice because they would pop out but the black wheels just set it off as being bad@$$ and instead of using the money for wheels buy something else for the car, there is always something you can get.

Fellows... the TrailBlazer SS is a fun toy... awesome handling and sleeper looks to go with decent get-up-and-go... I should know... I owned a 2006 TBSS with awd... I traded it even-steven for the t-top Camaro in my sig.

It never got better than 10.8 miles per gallon.... and I didn't drive it "that" hard.

I got to admit... I miss it.

I've got a few Lingenfelter go fast goodies. Stage 3 ported and polished 317's with reworked chambers, P&P LS6 intake and throttle body. Gotta thank Ryan for the TB and IM, and Al for the port work.

Car is a work in progress, not only am I building it to the hilt, but I'm also doing some restoration work on it as well (car was left in a barn for the past 13 years) but it's getting there. It's a 1993 Mazda RX7 with twin 60mm Precision turbos and an LQ4 (iron block LS2) bored .030 over to 370ci. Forged internals consist of an Eagle crank, Callies Compstar rods, ceramic coated Diamond pistons, and ARP main and head studs. I built the motor my self along with the T56 trans (steel 3-4 shift fork, billet shift keys, and brass shift pads).

I tried fitting a single 88mm turbo in the car, but it was just physically to large to allow adequite room for a daily driver friendly cooling system. So I sold that and just got the twins in today. I can finally start fabricating the log manifolds and the rest of the turbo kit!!! Building the car to be able to hit 1000rwhp on pump gas and meth injection (just to say I did so) but will probably stay in the street friendly 600-800rwhp range.

Don't have many pics since there's still not much to look at, but you get the jist of it:

Hey, I'm new to this forum but have been on LS1tech for a while...My ride is considered old school by most now but heres the stats:

1995 Formula A4 with the LPE 383 package...54,000 miles...The car ran high 11s for years without a hiccup...In 2005 I stepped up my game a bit with a custom cam from Joe Overton, measuring only 226/234 .568" lift, a noted LT1 n/a guy, and had the LPE LT1 heads re-ported by Eric Bradby (E.B. Porting) but still kept the original valve springs installed by LPE in 1995...With a good suspension, a well thought out combo, and 275 60 R15 M/T radials I've gone a best of 11.23 at over 121 mph with a 1.52 60' n/a on pump gas at a race weight of 3600 lbs...

The bottom end has not been touched since its install in 1995 and this thing just won't quit! I drive it everywhere and it gets 20 mpg on the highway...Those who want to see it can check out the LPE vehicle gallery...Its the black Formula heating the tires at Capitol Raceway in Maryland....

Since that last run I've re-stalled the Vig from 3600 to 4000 and added a Spohn pro series rear drag bar hoping for a 10.9ish run....Thanks to LPE for building one stout motor that lets me flog it over and over without any issues...
