Hey Tim, was wondering if you have any plans at this time or in the near future to offer a warranty, say a 3yr-36,000 mile warranty, covering the full powertrain when you do upgrades to the engine. I feel sure the factory warranty will be null & void just as soon as you modify the engine. Thanks!

All of the Lingenfelter supercharger packages other than the two base install versions include a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty on the supercharger and the engine assembly. The less expensive base installs have a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty on the supercharger only. The base installs are also done slightly different which accounts for the lower cost. The base installs do not include the LPE air intake, a Kenne Bell boost a pump, fender badges and the extra labor to move the supercharger coolant reservoir and related items to the drivers side to make room for the Lingenfelter aluminum coil covers.

Tim:

Thanks for pointing out the distinction between the warranty coverage and differences between the "base" and "upgrade" supercharger installations.... and thanks to butchba54 for asking the question!

Tim,
Thanks for the reply and the info. I am curious as to what happens to the rest of the drivetrain after modifications to the engine? Will GM not warrant the transmission & the rearend after the modifications? Is there a way to buy an extended warranty that would cover these also? Thanks once again for your help!
