Swapping out broken parts at the dragstrip is nothing new and the weekend in Atlanta proved to be very hard on our backup differential in our LS9 Powered 2010 Camaro SS. The first pass with our LPE billet aluminum differential broke the fabricated drivers side half shaft so we installed our back up unit which was a stock Camaro SS differential carrier with 4.10 gears. We completed 2 easy passes with the Hoosier drag slicks followed by 2 harder passes with the LPE two step activated resulting in a 10.36 @ 139.95 and a 10.41 @ 139.96. During the fifth pass the 4.10 ring & pinion gear set in the stock 2010 Camaro differential carrier broke.
