Lingenfelter entered our gray 2009 C6 ZR1 Corvette in the 2010 October Texas Mile event that was held October 22-24, 2010 at the Goliad Texas Airport.
The gray Lingenfelter ZR1 is a perfect example of the capabilities of our 710 hp ZR1 supercharger upgrade package. Several standing mile runs were made with the best resulting in a 185.9 MPH.
LPE gray 710 HP C6 ZR1 modifications included:
- Lingenfelter cast aluminum supercharger front cover assembly
- 2.60 inch diameter steel supercharger 10 bolt drive pulley - 11 rib
- 100 mm aluminum double bearing idler assembly
- Lingenfelter LS9 solid supercharger isolator coupling
- Lingenfelter ZR1 air intake system
- Lingenfelter 160 degree thermostat
- Increased boost level to 12 - 13 psi
- Lingenfelter PCM tuning
Additional upgrades:
- Corsa exhaust
- LPE carbon fiber LS9 engine cover
- Brey Krause harness bar
- 5 point G-Force harness
- Brey Krause camera mount mount
- Brey Krause fire extinguisher mount and quick release with fire extinguisher
All runs were done with the standard LPE 710 hp package calibration and 93 octane unleaded pump gas. - EFILive V2 Scan tool for data logging engine/vehicle data
- VBox GPS data logger for recording vehicle speed versus time and distance
The Texas Mile has grown rapidly since its inaugural event in October 2003. Participants come from all edges of the United States, Canada and Mexico to test themselves and their motorized equipment on the fastest and most challenging 1-mile track in the world.
