The customer will be participating in this years GUMBALL 3000 RALLY which starts in Time Square, NYC. He is one of only 6 other drivers representing the USA and wanted to drive a car that screams USA pride . No car in the US screams US pride like the Corvette and to put the cherry on top a Lingenfelter.

The original color of the car was yellow but we wanted to have a RED, WHITE AND BLUE theme. We used vinyl wrap to make a complete color change using 3M material. However, 3M does not currently offer Matte Red. These little things don't deter us from making things happen so we made a few calls and manufactured the material ourselves and still kept it all 3M. On top of the wrap we also blacked out all the lights and painted the HRE wheels Red and Black.

This car took a total of 75+ man hours to make sure ABSOLUTELY no yellow is showing. We disassembeled the car and made sure we blacked out the jams or wrapped them. Car came out spectacular. Check out some of the pics and for the full gallery check it out at Matte Red TT Lingenfelter

It was an honor to be a part of this build and work on a Lingenfelter!

That looks really sweet in matte red and the wheels look great as well. That was the last Commemorative Edition Corvette to be built in October of 2008 and was originally sold to a customer in South Florida. Here is a link to the Commemorative Edition page with all the details

yessir that is correct. He lives here in So Fla and then sold it to my good friends at the New Auto Toy Store. Now it's on it's way up to NYC and will be at the Indy 500. Hope you Ken and Kristen get to see it in person. We put a lot of man hours into this build to make it worthy of a Lingenfelter name!
