Lingenfelter is proud to be asked to provide some of our more iconic Corvette’s that have been built over the years. The five Lingenfelter Corvette’s featured in the Corvette museum are as follows.
The 2006 C6 ZO6 Corvette Twin Turbo Motor Trend 2007 Shoot Out Car. This was Lingenfelter's fastest C6 Corvette in 2007 with its standing mile pass on street tires of 226.25 MPH. The ZO6 put down a 0-200 mph in just 18.34 seconds on 93 octane pump gas. The ZO6 ran the standing mile in only 25.12 seconds. The ZO6 Twin Turbo is on loan from Norm Koerner. Click for more info
A 1995 Corvette ZR1 415 CID LT5 featured in the August 1998 Issue of Road & Track, that was John Lingenfelter’s yellow 1995 ZR1 for the top speed shootout. Mario Andretti drove all of the cars at the Fort Stockton test track and Lingenfelter's yellow ZR1 ran 201.5 MPH with full exhaust and 218.1 MPH on open headers. This 415 CID LT5 produced 686 HP and is normally aspirated. The 1995 Corvette ZR1 415 CID is on loan from Norm Koerner.
1995 Corvette ZR1 368 CID LT5 Twin Turbo is one of 4 built by Lingenfelter, and the most powerful of the group due to larger turbochargers and additional engine components. In 2000 John Lingenfelter drove this Twin Turbo ZR1 that was producing 850 rear wheel HP at Beech Bend Raceway Park, where he reached 153 MPH, @ 9.52 seconds. The 1995 Corvette ZR1 Twin Turbo is on loan from Norm Koerner.
This was the Lingenfelter Corvette 427 Twin Turbo 2000 Corvette 2002 Motor Trend Shoot Out Car. This C5 produced 1,100 HP from its C5R 427 CID Twin Turbo engine. The car ran a best time of 8.95 seconds @ 153 MPH in the 1/4 mile in December of 2002 driven by Matt Hartford. The Corvette has its best 0-60 time of 1.97 seconds. The Corvette was also pitted against a US Navy Blue Angels F/A-18 jet in a quarter mile drag race that was featured in Motor Trend. The car was originally built for Steve Dumler, and is now part of The Lingenfelter Collection in Brighton Michigan.. Follow this link for more info & video
A 2006 Lingenfelter C6 Commemorative Edition Corvette that was serial number #4. This beauty is powered by a 750 Horsepower / 730 lbs-ft of torque 427 CID Intercooled Twin Turbo LS engine. Upgrades included a full Lingenfelter C6 body kit, Koni adjustable shocks, Brembo Brakes, Michelin Pilot Sport tires, Lingenfelter mini tub kit' & HRE Wheels.
