Cold timing issue with 630 upgrade

I have just added the 630 upgrade to my CTS-V 2011 and am experiencing some sluggish performance at 1500-300 rpm only when engine is cold. Seems to be below 160 degrees. I had it Dyno tuned and retuned. The second tune some adjustments were made to the 02 sensor maps? Any ideas or suggestions. Has anyone heard of similar issue? Should closed loop tuning need to be done or cold engine tuning? Im going for round 3 on the Dyno.

2012 CTS-V 630HP Upgrade Kit - DYNO TEST

Hello - I have a 2012 CTS-V Sedan . . . automatic.

I had the Lingenfelter 630HP upgrade kit (pulley, intake, thermostat, filter) installed with the ECU tuning software . . . I was wondering if anyone who has installed it can tell me what their's does on the Dyno. Mine Dyno'd at 505 HP and 505 Torque - which seemed low to me . . . but the shop I was at contends that their Dyno reads about 20-30 HP lower than most.

I have a CTS coupe not the V version. Do you know if you can buy just the radio bezel like the V models have. Cadillac told me no. I love the car but don't like the silver metal part, I like the black. Its the same color that the Vettes had in the 05-07. I changed it to the 08 carbon fiber and it looks much better.

Changing Lingenfelter CAI Air Filter

I decided that my CAI air filter needed to be changed; I had purchased a spare so that I could do the job, then clean the old one. This task was a pain in the rear! Removing those push pins from underneath is more of a braille approach, but the worst part was putting the hump hose back on the throttle body. I really needed a second person to support the air box while I pushed the hose over the throttle body, but I only had myself. Of course you cannot see the underside of the throttle body until you think you have the hose on straight and can take your hands off. It is hard to tighten a hose clamp with one hand while holding the assembly onto the throttle body with two hands! I am not very pleased about the design of this CAI filter replacement.....

Driven by HOT ROD magazine Editor-in-Chief David Freiburger, the Lingenfelter-tuned ZL1 Camaro hit 202.67 mph at the Continental Tire North America, Inc. Uvalde Proving Grounds in Uvalde, Texas on April 30, 2012.

"The Lingenfelter crew couldn't be more excited to make history as the first 2012 ZL1 Camaro to exceed 200 mph, and to celebrate this victory on the heels of becoming the first company to run a ZL1 in the 10s," said Ken Lingenfelter, owner, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. On April 18 - just two weeks after taking ownership of one of the first production ZL1 Camaros available to the public - Lingenfelter powered their ZL1 Camaro to its first record run in the 10s, making an impressive 10.79 quarter-mile pass at 134.36 mph at Muncie Dragway in Albany, Ind.

LPE engineers used their expertise to modify the ZL1 Camaro with a Lingenfelter GT9 camshaft; CNC ported cylinder heads; an increased supercharger speed thanks to a 2.3 top pulley and a 5% overdriven bottom pulley; a custom air intake with LPE's race mesh filter; Continental ExtremeContact(tm) DW tires and production ZL1 wheels. The LPE-tuned ZL1 makes 720 HP and 650 lbs. ft. of torque at the rear wheels.

AutoBlog - Lingenfelter Camaro ZL1 tops 200 mph

With the 2013 Shelby GT500 putting out 662 horsepower and 631 pound-feet torque, we're guessing that more than a few owners of the new Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will be looking to even things up via the aftermarket. The speed-obsessed guys over at Lingenfelter Performance Engineering are already putting a few options on the table with a three new upgrade packages that boost the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 to anywhere from 630 to 700-plus horsepower.

Apparently, Lingenfelter was eager to prove the merits of its work, and just a couple weeks after taking delivery of an early production Camaro ZL1 had it out on the track putting down times. The test car, pushing out 720 horsepower, laid down a 10.79 second quarter mile pass at Muncie Dragway in Albany, IN, and later recorded a 202 mph top speed at Continental Tire's proving grounds earlier this week. Coincidentally, that's the same top speed that the 2013 Shelby GT500 reached during its high speed testing at the Nardo Ring in Italy last year.

Did you know that the Woodward Dream Cruise actually started as a small fundraiser to raise money for a soccer field in Ferndale, Michigan?

In August 1995, Nelson House and a group of volunteers looked to relive and recreate the nostalgic heydays of the 50s and 60s, when youth, music and Motor City steel roamed Woodward Avenue, America’s first highway. That year, 250,000 people participated—nearly ten times the number expected. The rest, as they say, is history.

Today, the Woodward Dream Cruise is the world’s largest one-day automotive event, drawing 1.5 million people and 40,000 classic cars each year from around the globe—from as far away as New Zealand, Australia, Japan and the former Soviet Union. North American cruisers from California, Georgia, Canada and all points in between caravan to Metro Detroit to participate in what has become, for many, an annual rite of summer.

The Dream Cruise takes place along a 16-mile stretch of the legendary Woodward Avenue through eight host communities including Berkley, Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township, Ferndale, Huntington Woods, Pleasant Ridge, Pontiac and Royal Oak, in Southeast Michigan.

Lingenfelter Performance Engineering will have several displays located on Woodward Avenue which will be announced soon.

After several attempts at slightly above 199mph, David Freiburger just ran 202.67 mph in the same Lingenfelter ZL1 Camaro that was the first in the 10s. This is the first ZL1 over 200. The Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau is finalizing a daily schedule of activities customized just for Power Tour� participants. GM Proving Ground will be the host site of the Painless Performance Kickoff Day for this year�s Power Tour, but Warren, MI will be the hub of many cool activities. Take advantage of all Motor City has to offer, so come early and plan extra time in �The D�. Registered Power Tour participants will receive exclusive access to the following activities May 28 � June 3:

� 2 for-1 Admissions to Detroit Automotive Attractions and Museums

� Free Track Day at Detroit race tracks

� VIP Private Garage Tours

� Nightly Cruises

� Live Music & Entertainment

Schedule:

� Friday June 1, 9am � 6pm: Power Tour registration and credential pick-up open at Warren City Hall.

� Friday Afternoon: �Free Prix� day at the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix

� Friday Night: Power Tour Pre-Party and Cruise in Downtown Mount Clemens from 5pm � 10pm.

� Saturday Night June 2: Cruise on over to join the City of Warren as it hosts its �Afterglow� party from 7pm-11pm with a cruise in, live entertainment, food and fun.
