Hi, i wrote you a message last October 2011 about a problem with my LPE cylinder head. If you don't recall, my CNC ported head developed a leak due to a crack on the intake port. I contacted you at that time, but it was while before you responded. I removed the head and had a well respected local machine shop repair it. However, less than a year later, it started leaking again. I called LPE and asked if I could get a new one. The sales rep said they did not have any cores and if I had could find one, send it to them for CNC. I figured it would take weeks to get a new one, so I decided to buy a pair of CNC heads from Livernois instead.

I was willing to pay for a single head to replace my failed one. There are lots of choices today and you should know I decided to place the LPE brand with a competitor because of a less than satisfactory way my problem was addressed.

I know it is Sunday, so this question can wait until Monday to be answered.

I purchased a head and cam package from 21st Century Muscle Cars a couple of years ago. it was installed and tuned by 21st Century too.

One of the cylinder heads developed a crack and was leaking coolant into the intake port. The head serial number is LPE-2837. Apparently, during the CNC porting, it was machined too close to a coolant passage and cracked developed.

The engine is normally aspirated and makes ~ 450 rwhp. It is used on the street and has never been raced. The motor has about 20,000 miles after the installation.

Question: What does Lingenfelter recommend I do?
