Default Lingenfelter Corvette ZR1 Supercharger Pulley Upgrade & Overdrive Harmonic Balancer

Lingenfelter now offers two ways to increase the performance of your 2009 Corvette ZR1 with our supercharger pulley upgrade kit and the new overdrive harmonic balancer.

The Lingenfelter supercharger pulley upgrade kit is designed to enhance the new LS9 Corvette ZR1 supercharged engine. This upgrade kit produces excellent horsepower and torque improvements over the factory 638 horsepower and 604 lbs ft of torque while maintaining a safe level of boost and supercharger RPM. Testing at Lingenfelter has shown 680 BHP and 660 lbs ft of torque with the Lingenfelter pulley upgrade kit installed. Installation of the kit does not require ECM programming or serpentine belt changes and will overdrive the supercharger 19% to raise boost on a stock engine 3-4 psi. The Lingenfelter ZR1 supercharger overdrive harmonic balancer upgrade kit is designed to enhance the new 2009 LS9 Corvette ZR1 supercharged engine. The LPE overdrive harmonic balancer kit produces excellent horsepower and torque improvements over the factory 638 horsepower & 604 lbs ft of torque while maintaining a safe level of boost & supercharger RPM.

This harmonic balancer kit will increase boost by raising the RPM of your supercharger by overdriving it from the harmonic balancer. This kit does not replace the driven supercharger pulley on the supercharger snout.

Tuning is not required if the LPE overdrive harmonic balancer is used alone and will overdrive the supercharger 14%. The balancer can also be used in conjunction with the Lingenfelter 2.60 inch diameter supercharger driven pulley upgrade kit for higher boost levels of 18 - 19 lbs but would require higher octane fuel.

    Tim,

I have been reading on a couple of forums that the stock LS9 clutch is really having trouble keeping up with even simple modifications such as pulley upgrades etc. Have you seen this on any of your cars? If so, is there a cure?

We are working on an upgraded dual disk clutch assembly with a higher load and torque capacity pressure plate and disk. This assembly will work with the stock flywheel and actuator. Another new item that we have available now is a lighter weight aluminum idler pulley set that knocks some weight off the front end of the car. I will try and get this on the web site this weekend with more complete details and pictures.

    Tim,

If boost goes over 192 Kpa it will require the PCM calibration to be altered in several locations. Just don't want to see someone have an issue when they exceed the stock calibration limits......

The pin supplied in the kit is to let you pin the pulley and shaft. After you drill and insert the pin use a punch to stake the material around the hole to prevent the pin from coming back out.

    Drill Bit Specifications:

    Fractional Drill Size 3/16" (.1875")
Drill Bit Style Taper–Length Drill Bits
Drill Bit Composition Carbide High-Speed Steel
    Surface Treatment Bright Finish
    Point Angle 118°
    Point Style Standard
    Overall Length 5-3/4"
    Flute Length 3-3/8"
    Shank Type Straight with Tang

We can supply this with the kit if someone needs it. $34.95
Here are some pictures that are actually CTS-V but will be similar. We are working on finishing our instructions.
