    Lingenfelter now offers a twin disk clutch that has 20 % more torque capacity than the OE ZR1 LS9 twin disk pressure plate assembly. The Max-Cx clutch is a direct replacement for a stock 2009-2011 C6 ZR1 Corvette or can be used with the Lingenfelter billet steel flywheel & actuator for C6 ZO6 Corvette 2006-2011 and Camaro SS 2010-2011 applications.

    What has been upgraded or changed in the MAX-CX ZR1 TWIN DISK CLUTCH ZR1, and is it still using the stock clutch discs?

    Flag Lingenfelter Max-Cx High Capacity ZR1 Clutch 20%

    The clutch has 20% more mechanical clamping force with the same disks as the stock clutch. The Max-Cx clutch I can say from experience in a 750 HP C6 ZR1 Corvette drives very nice and has a stock feel on release with no issues at all. I could tell a small increase in pedal pressure from a stock ZR1 but nothing uncomfortable at all.
