Here is some footage from one of the runs in the Optima Power Source Sandhills Open Road Challenge held in Arnold, Nebraska.

In the video, we turned down the volume to minimize the wind noise; and in certain parts, we sped up the footage for timing reasons. At about 4:30 into the video, our buddy, Bill Goldberg the wrestler passed the ZR1. He was DQ'd upon being clocked above 150 MPH.







This was the first time Lingenfelter has participated in this challenge, so we were in the 91 MPH class with a maximum allowed speed of 120 MPH. The Lingenfelter ZR1 performed flawlessly, and was capable of much much more speed; although we played within the rules.









During the trip, we met one of our customers, who also brought his Lingenfelter ZR1 Corvette. He was able to hit 190 MPH during the challenge.



Part of the weekend included attending the Pastime Fun in the Sun Kool-aid Car Show in the birthplace of Kool-aid, Hastings, Nebraska.





Ken and Mike made many new friends during this trip to Nebraska.
