Can a used Vette become a legit LPE car?
I bought a 2006 Corvette with the Lingenfelter body kit and some extensive mods (procharger, etc). My question is, I want to go from 12 psi of boost to the 22 lbs I will get with the smaller pulley from my F1D ProCharger. But to do so I need upgrades to my fuel and spark systems and forged components, ie crank, pistons, rods, probably redo heads, and looking at your GT9 cam. I am making 648 hp to the wheels right now. And not sure if I want to bore it out etc. I hear just reinforcing the engine has gotten between 1000 and 1200 hp to the wheels in a similar build. I plan to drag race for fun weekly and I will be taking the car to the track at Mid Ohio.
If I have the engine build done at LPE does this car become a fully "blessed" Lingenfelter? Or just a C6 with a Lingenfelter body and engine build?
Thank you.
