2001 Z06 TT427 - Oil Recomendation

I picked up The Monster (my name for my new beast) a few month's back. She is a 2001 Z06 with the Ligenfelter Twin Turbo 427 package. Pretty amazing I compare the acceleration of this car to my superbike. I'm going to go through and change all of the fluids. If she was stock I would run Mobil 1 5W30, since this motor is anything but stock I would like to know what oil and weight Ligenfelter recommends. Thanks, Chuck

I was told to use Mobil 1 15/50 in mine and have been doing so for the past eight years.

I also change the oil and filter every 3,000 miles.

Normally a 15w50 Mobil 1 is what we recommend throughout most of the year, especially in warmer climates. If you are driving in colder temps, 10w30 Mobil 1 is ok as well.
