  • 2004 Corvette LS1 to LS3 swap (LS376/480 HP 6.2L CrateEngine with HotCam)

I saw this thread in regards to a Camaro or Firebird & 2004 Pontiac GTO swap, but cant find anything for a Corvette specific swap....I will be getting the swap done later this year with the LS376/480 HP 6.2L CrateEngine with HotCam , but I am going to buy the needed parts in different chunks before then. Currently I have LG Motorsports LT headers with cats, and a Hurricane intake and will transfer those to the new motor...

Here is a list of Lingenfelter parts that will allow you to swap an LS3 engine into a 1997-2002 Camaro or Firebird & 2004 Pontiac GTO. These parts could also be used for L76, LSA and LS9 installs.

      1998 Corvette C5 automatic LS1 to LS3 swap

This is one of the few threads I have found on this swap. The LS3 seems like a natural fit into my C5. I drive it everyday but would love to have that add punch that a cammed LS3 can bring.

I am looking to nail down everything I will need to mate it up with my computer, harness and 4l60e. I know about the trigger issue. Getting the tranny beefed up will be a must. The list below from seattletazman is very helpful.

Any added information or links would be appreciated.
