  • Benefits of Heads to compliment my gt11 cam

I have an '07 Vette. I recently had a GT11 Cam installed and I am very pleased with its characteristics.
I am considering upgrading my 243 heads to Lingenfelter Heads for the LS2. I assume the heads are matched to the GT11?

I'm curious as to the Hp/Tq gains I can expect from the Heads on my LS2?

Current mods include CAI, Ported TB, Fast 102, GT11, 1 3/4 kooks, catted x pipe, borla touring.
    Last dyno was 400Hp/394Tq.

data points on current power band:
    RPM HP TQ
    2000 135 300
    2250 145 340
    2500 169 347
    2750 175 347
    3000 200 349
    3250 220 350
    3500 245 359
    3750 271 375
    4000 296 380
    4250 320 380
    4500 332 380
    4750 353 391
    5000 372 387
    5250 380 380
    5500 387 369
    5750 395 360
    6000 400 350
    6250 397 330
    6500 388 312
    6750 370 300

    Thank you,
    Adam

Here are chassis dyno graphs of two LS2 Corvettes that we did with the Lingenfelter CNC ported heads, GT11 camshafts, headers and high flow cats. Similar to what you have now. Not sure if yours was and automatic or manual transmission so I included one of each. Please keep in mind these are not our best two examples just average examples.

      Tim,
Thank you for sharing that. My car is an A6. My set-up, without the heads, is quite comparable to the dyno you posted. As you may know, the two choke points on the ls2 are the heads and intake manifold. I'm guessing if you added a fast 102 to your AT Dyno, we could expect up to 30rwhp. So I'm guessing on my set-up, I can see 420 to 430 with the Lingenfelter heads.

Question on the Lingenfelter heads, is the porting matched to the GT11 Cam?

Finally had my LS2 A6 completed with a fast 102, LPE Head Porting on the 799's, LPE GT11. It put down 435 rwhp / 415 tq. Beat my expectations!
