        Why only 70k?

So, Tim, what is your take on why the ZR1 sold for only $70k? Seems like a real steal at that price...

Lingenfelter ZR1 Corvette at Mecum Auction Indianapolis

The 2009 Lingenfelter ZR1 Corvette sold at $70,000.00 because at the time the car went through the auction the bidders present were only willing to bid it up to that price. The car had around 14,000.00 miles on it and was in very good condition.

Had a different combination of circumstances been present it might have been a different outcome. This is the risk that you accept when pulling a reserve during the auction. Some times it works out better for the seller, this time it worked out better for the buyer.
