    The installation of the Lingenfelter heavy duty 9.5 inch cast aluminum differential requires a specific length driveshaft when installing in a Camaro SS. The Driveshaft Shop heavy duty carbon fiber driveshaft for the 2010-2012 Camaro SS is a stub system mounted into a billet aluminum plate to ensure not only strength but lighter weight. Because of the design of the carbon fiber shaft it has a higher critical speed than the one piece DSS steel driveshaft.
