Partners in Power!

Two Iconic brands, Lingenfelter and Motion, partner to develop and market Dyno-Proven Big-Blocks.
Joel "Mr. Motion" Rosen and Tom Cress, President, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering will announce at SEMA 2006 that a new Signature Series of Lingenfelter/Motion Dyno-Proven Big-Block engines will power Baldwin-Motion SS-427, Phase III 540 and Super Series (SuperCoupe & SuperSpeedster) Camaros.
"Joel will be working with our development engineers to come up with proprietary profiles and Big-Block combinations available only in limed production Baldwin-Motion specialty vehicles and as turnkey powerplants from Motion. We are currently working on both naturally-aspirated and boosted Lingenfelter/Motion-branded engines," said Cress.
The first Lingenfelter/Motion engine, and all-aluminum 540 dyno-proven at 660 hp and 640 lbs. ft of torque on 93 octane pump gas, will power a Baldwin-Motion Phase III Camaro being built for export.

After inking the deal, Larry Jaworske, Motion CEO, commented, "Both John Lingenfelter and Joel Rosen earned their creds and grew their brands building, racing and marketing the quickest and fastest Camaros and Corvettes and setting National records (since 1967). It's a perfect fit."
Superspeedster Shines at SEMA!

Debuted at the Meguiar's exhibit at SEMA 2006, the coachbuilt 700 plus horsepower, two seat Camaro SuperSpeedster is the flagship of Baldwin-Motion's SuperSeries.
Handcrafted by artisans, the SuperSpeedster is a fully tubbed, air conditioned wide body 1969 Camaro with power operated doors and (fiberglass) hood and tonneau.
Its sculptured steel Camaro body sits on a full spine type tubular steel chassis fitted with four wheel independant suspension, signature Motion independent rear with Dana 60 limited slip center section, Penske coil over shocks, power rack and pinion steering and giant six piston Baer/Motion disc brakes.
Power for this extreme Supercar comes from a roller cammed Motion built 540 inch, all aluminum big block, topped off with Kinsler cross ram fuel injection. On a fully calibrated chassis dynamometer at Aerocomp Racing, Sanford, FL, the motion yellow SEMA showcar generated 522 rear wheel horsepower at 5,500 RPM and 534 lbs. ft. of torque at 5,000 RPM!
"Our Motion 540 big block makes power through 6,200 RPM. However test were limited to 5,500 RPM as we couldn't keep the Camaro from climbing out of the dyno's rollers," said Joel 'Mr. Motion' Rosen.
"Horsepower at the flywheel is 700 plus and the throttle response is spectacular. We thought is was going to pull the tie downs out of the ground!" added Motion CEO, Larry Jaworske, who worked with Rosen during the dyno tuning session.
Baldwin Motions flagship Camaros feature big block engines set back 13 inches, resulting in a true front/mid engine layout and outstanding handleing and braking. The SEMA showcar's transmission is a five speed Tremec hooked up to the independent rear via a custom carbon fiber driveshaft.
Joel "Mr. Motion" Rosen and Tom Cress, President, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering announced a strategic partnership (Partners in Power) at SEMA 2006. A new Signature Series of naturally aspirated and "boosted" Lingenfelter/Motion Dyno Proven Big Block engines will power all Baldwin Motion specialty vehicles. The will also be available as turnkey powerplants exclusively from Motion.
All SuperSeries Camaro interiors are custom tailored for the owner, much like Savile Row made to measure or "bespoke" suits. Purchasers are "fitted" during the build process for placement of pedals, steering wheel, seat and billet shift lever.
The mid series Corvette influenced the design of the SEMA showcar's dashboard. It features dual pods with engine turned stainless steel panels fitted with custom instruments, air conditioning vents and a passenger assist grip. Mounted between the pods is the rear view video screen that replaces a traditional mirror.
"Our SuperSpeedster has no side windows, no top, and absolutely no competition in the marketplace. It's the most extreme musclecar you can buy and drive on the street," said Motion President, Joel Ehrenpreis at its SEMA introduction.
Credit for handcrafting the SuperSpeedster goes to Phil Somers and his crew at American Super Car INC, Hudson, FL, Motion's exclusive coachbuilder. Phil also built the Camaro SuperCoupe, winner of the GM Design Award at SEMA 2005.
Baldwin Motion's SS-427 ($169,000), Phase III 540 ($189,000) and the coachbuilt SuperCoupe ($427,000) and SuperSpeedster ($495,000) Camaros are signed by Joel "Mr. Motion" Rosen and fully documented with paperwork and build photography. Each vehicle is built to order using a premium "donor" with an original Chevrolet VIN and can be registered and insured worldwide.
