The ZL1 Camaro was run at the Continental/General Tire’s Proving Grounds in Uvalde, Texas. This was the same ZL1 that was the first to dip into the 10′s in the quarter-mile. The 200-plus-mph number didn’t come easy, making three prior passes at 199.8 & 199.9 mph.
The Lingenfelter ZL1 Camaro upgrades included our GT9 camshaft; LPE CNC ported LSA cylinder heads; 2.3 top supercharger pulley; 5% overdrive harmonic balancer pulley; custom air intake with LPE's race mesh filter; Continental ExtremeContact(tm) DW tires & production ZL1 wheels. The LPE-tuned ZL1 makes 720 HP and 650 lbs. ft. of torque at the rear wheels.
