When you are building a high performance engine with a higher lift camshaft you need lighter weight valve spring retainers to help prevent valve float at higher RPM's. Competition Cams titanium valve spring retainers are American made from the finest 6AL4V alloy for maximum stiffness and minimal warp-age. The Competition Cams titanium retainers are designed for use with Comp Super Locks sold separately.
