| | Camshaft timing can be dramatically effected by chain stretch and wear to the point that your engine’s performance can suffer. To prevent this problem, LPE recommends the Cloyes True Roller that uses a heavy duty double roller chain in combination with a heat treated gear and sprocket. To help dial in your camshaft, Cloyes standard sets have three key way positions 4 degrees advance, 0 degrees and 4 degrees retard. Hex A Just sets offer more adjustment with the ability to alter timing in fractions of a degree, +6 deg to - 6 degrees.
