| | LPE now offers this new modular design sleeve from Darton Sleeve. This new design sleeve makes it possible to build larger than a 383 CID engine with out the expense of the General Motors C5R aluminum race block. To machine the block LPE uses a state of the art, Rottler F65 3 axis CNC machine. This machine provides a high degree of accuracy and eliminates the need to deck the block after installation. To ensure long term durability Darton designed a new interlocking sleeve assembly with a double o-ring to prevent coolant leaks into the oil system. Installed sleeves have an unfinished bore of 4.050” diameter. Sleeves can accommodate 4.060” to 4.155” diameter bore. The $2,850.00 retail installation price includes align hone after installation. |
