Cam Number Duration @ .050  Valve Lift   Rocker Arm Centerline LS1-GT1-1 229 / 242 .631" / .631" 1.7 ratio 114   Click here to watch a video of the camshaft idle    Extensive engine dyno testing at Lingenfelter has produced some of the best street camshaft profiles available for the LS1, LS6 & LS2 engines.  The Lingenfelter "GT1-1" series camshaft was designed to produce excellent power with a rougher idle for six speed manual transmission equipped vehicles or automatic transmission applications with a loose torque converter.     This camshaft was designed to be used in LS1, LS6, LS2 350 CID - 427 CID applications.  Spring & retainer upgrades are a must with this camshaft.  This cam should not be installed in LS1 engines without modifications to stock pistons.  Piston to valve clearance should be checked with aftermarket pistons.     This camshaft works excellent in 427 CID LS1, LS6 or LS2 engines for drag race or road race applications.     All Lingenfelter camshafts ground by Competition Cams to Lingenfelter specifications on induction hardened cores for exceptional durability and long life.
