Lingenfelter offers a CNC ported version of the L92/LS3 aluminum cylinder head used on 2008 production 6.2L based Chevrolet Corvettes and various 2007-2008 L92 L76 6.2L and 6.0L based GM trucks.

The port and chambers are carefully designed to provide the best combination of high flow capabilities. This combination provides excellent horsepower gains.

Lingenfelter L92/LS3 cylinder heads are precision CNC machined on our in house 5 axis CNC machine to insure that tight tolerances are maintained.

The Lingenfelter CNC porting procedure is a computer controlled machining operation that duplicates details from a finished Lingenfelter hand ported cylinder head. Hand porting is a very labor intensive and time-consuming procedure that takes years to perfect.

By CNC porting the cylinder heads the high cost of hand porting is reduced, plus the CNC porting is more consistent and will produce better results. Each CNC ported cylinder head will have the same port and chamber configuration as the original master used to develop the CNC program.

Following porting each head receives: Precision 3 angle valve job to maximize flow & provide extended life, CC checking chamber size for correct compression, surfacing to insure deck flatness, deburring, pressure testing, professional assembly, setting spring height & checking all tolerances, and serial number.

Intake runner volume - LPE CNC: 275cc - Stock GM: 261cc
Exhaust runner volume - LPE CNC: 93cc - Stock GM: 89cc

Base price package includes:

Two New GM core cylinder heads
Stock 2.165 intake valves
Stock 1.59 exhaust valves
Stock retainers, locks, and valve seals
Comp Cams 26928 valvesprings for camshafts with up to .650 lift

Minimum of 4" bore size recommended.
