 Frankenmuth, appropriately named "Michigan's Little Bavaria," was home to the 27th Annual Frankenmuth Autofest and Lingenfelter was proud to be in attendance.
The weekend kicked off with a big block party boasting over 2000 cars on Main Street, continued on Saturday with the Oldies Fest car show, and finished with an awards presentation in Heritage Park on Sunday. We brought along our 590 HP 2009 Dodge Challenger, as well as the 670 HP E-Force equipped 2008 Corvette for display, which garnered a lot of attention throughout the weekend's activities.

 LPE made the journey this past weekend down to Beach Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, KY for Holley LS Fest 2010. The LS Fest is the ultimate celebration of the GM LS engine, where any LS-powered vehicle is welcome to compete and celebrate with other LS enthusiasts from around the country. This was a natural fit for Lingenfelter!
There were many activities and events that took place over the three-day span, highlights included drag racing, a 0-60-0 speed stop challenge, an autocross and a show-n-shine. Lingenfelter took the top spot in the Camaro-Pontiac G8 class in the drag race competition using the Lingenfelter LS9-powered 2010 Camaro SS. Piloted by Jon Ebert, the Camaro was able to clinch victory and lay down a top time of 9.709 at 148.61 MPH!
Overall it was a great event with an impressive showing and we're glad to have come home with a victory!
