The Lingenfelter CTS-V Reinforced Intercooler Brick delivers a product that is substantially stronger than OEM Factory standards, enabling the use of increased boost levels thought aftermarket pulley combinations. The factory GM intercooler "brick" was designed to handle stock boost levels (8 psi), so with increased boost levels that are produced with aftermarket pulley combinations it can break down the integrity of the factory brick. Lingenfelter Performance Engineering offers this reinforced brick to address the weakness of the OEM design

For extreme durability, it has been constructed using 6061 aluminum end plates that are hand welded to core exchanged bricks.
